Inspired by a post I saw on Facebook, I will pay tribute to individuals that I feel don’t get enough recognition during Black History Month. Phylicia Rashad is an amazing talent and my first entry. I rewatched the Cosby Show a few years ago and discovered a newfound appreciation for her abilities as a thespian. She was the glue that held that show together and still holds the title of America’s Mom in my book. The show may be forever tainted, and I will always claim it as one of my favorites because of her brilliance.
