- 2003 – Became a substitute teacher for Broward County Public Schools
- 2004 – Offered two full-time positions at the end of the school year at Mirror Lake and Silver Ridge Elementary
- 2004 – Started teaching Fitness – Silver Ridge Elementary

- 1991 – Placed third in Broward County’s “What ITV Means to Me” essay competition
- 1993 – Won first place in the school’s literacy fair in the Children’s Story category at Pines Middle School
- 1996 – Accepted into the television magnet program at Hallandale High
- 1997 – Developed the name Lesaruss as a part of a branding assignment in class and launched a part time business building client websites and videos
- 1999 – Selected as the only Broward County student representative for NBC’s Junior Broadcaster’s program
- 1999 – Landed an internship with the Florida Marlins
- 2000 – Graduated from Hallandale High
- 2000 – Hired by the Florida Marlins to manage their website for their live televised auction that raised over $30,000 for their Community Foundation
